1.1. By accessing or using SnapSnoreScore ("the App"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use.

1.2. SnapSnoreScore is a free, browser-based snoring detection and scoring tool designed for entertainment and general wellness awareness.

1.3. The App analyzes ambient sounds through your device's microphone to estimate snoring patterns and generate a Snore Score ranging from 0 to 100.

1.4. If you do not agree with these Terms of Use, you should discontinue use of the App immediately.

1.5. SnapSnoreScore reserves the right to modify or update these Terms of Use at any time. Updates will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Not a Medical Device

2.1. SnapSnoreScore is not a medical device and has not been evaluated, cleared, or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the European Medicines Agency (EMA), or any other medical regulatory authority.

2.2. The App is not intended to diagnose, treat, monitor, cure, or prevent any medical condition.

2.3. SnapSnoreScore should not be used for medical decision-making or as a substitute for professional medical advice.

2.4. The App does not measure clinical health indicators such as:

• Oxygen saturation
• Airflow
• Respiratory effort
• Brain activity
• Heart rate
• Sleep stages

These parameters are typically required for clinical sleep assessments.

2.5. The Snore Score is a non-clinical estimation based on environmental sound patterns and should be considered an informational or entertainment metric only.

2.6. The accuracy of the score may vary depending on factors such as:

• Background noise
• Microphone quality
• Distance between the device and the sleeper
• Presence of other people, pets, or sounds in the room
• Device hardware and browser performance

2.7. If you suspect you may have a sleep disorder, including obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) or other breathing-related conditions, you should consult a qualified healthcare professional.

3. Use at Your Own Risk

3.1. SnapSnoreScore is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind.

3.2. We do not guarantee that the App will be:

• Uninterrupted
• Error-free
• Secure
• Accurate
• Available at all times

3.3. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SnapSnoreScore and its creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of or inability to use the App.

3.4. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Loss of data
• Incorrect analysis results
• Health-related decisions made by users
• Device or browser compatibility issues

4. Acceptable Use

4.1. You agree to use SnapSnoreScore only for lawful purposes and personal use.

4.2. You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App's source code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems associated with the App
• Use the App to secretly record or monitor individuals without their consent
• Present SnapSnoreScore results as medical data or clinical diagnostics
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

5. Browser Compatibility

5.1. SnapSnoreScore requires a modern web browser that supports the following technologies:

• Web Audio API
• MediaDevices API (microphone access)

5.2. The App is designed to work with recent versions of:

• Google Chrome
• Safari
• Mozilla Firefox
• Microsoft Edge

5.3. Performance may vary depending on:

• Device hardware
• Operating system
• Browser version
• Available system resources

5.4. SnapSnoreScore may also function as a Progressive Web App (PWA), allowing installation on a device's home screen for an app-like experience. Availability of this feature depends on browser support.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1. The SnapSnoreScore name, logo, interface design, branding, and associated materials are the intellectual property of SnapSnoreScore.

6.2. The snoring classification system used in the App, including levels such as:

• Quiet Sleeper
• Light Snorer
• Motorcycle
• Chainsaw
• Angry Bear

are part of the App's creative design and presentation.

6.3. Users are permitted to share their generated Snore Score cards on social media platforms, websites, or messaging services.

6.4. By sharing a score card publicly, you grant SnapSnoreScore a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display anonymized examples of shared score cards for promotional or demonstration purposes. No personal identifying data will be associated with shared content.

7. Privacy

Your use of SnapSnoreScore is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how microphone access, local data storage, and analytics are handled.

SnapSnoreScore processes snoring analysis locally within your browser, meaning audio data is not uploaded or stored on external servers.

8. Governing Law

8.1. These Terms of Use shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which the App's operators are based, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.

8.2. Any dispute arising from the use of the App or these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation.

8.3. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be submitted to the competent courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
